This project started in September 2003 as a means to track resource spawn locations. I had just discovered swgcraft and lamented that it didn't have this feature (though I understood why).
It grew from there, slowly incorporating more and more features while the database structure evolved to accomodate them. The original structure was highly inefficient. The most recent version (0.4) was a complete restructuring of the categories structure and has resulted in significant speed and functionality gains. It currently sits at roughly 13000 lines of code.
Though it has the functionality to enter current resource data, it relies heavily on the data export provided by swgcraft. To my guild, at least, it has taken on the role of providing nearly all resource data because of the utility calculations it can afford to do on the resources.
